Workshops

Workshops at WEAVE are invitations.

Each one is a doorway into your body, your joy, your grief, your gifts. These are offered by women walking their medicine with integrity and heart. We welcome you into each one just as you are.

You will be able to sign up for specific workshops that call to you as the event comes closer.

*Specific workshops are not guaranteed and are subject to change*

  • Womb Work

    Facilitated by: Alethea Gaul

This workshop is an invitation to come back into relationship with your womb as a space of memory, intuition, and creation. Through guided practice, breath, and intentional presence, we’ll gently open space for release, restoration, and deeper listening. This is a space to honor what has been held and reconnect with the quiet power within.

  • Grief Circle + Soul Retrieval

    Facilitated by: Candace Kunze

A soul retrieval is a sacred ceremonial journey that gently calls back the parts of the self that may have separated during moments of trauma, grief, or loss. In this work, we honor the innate wholeness of the soul while creating a safe and intentional space for these fragmented aspects to be witnessed, welcomed, and reintegrated with compassion. Within the grief circle, participants are invited into a held community where sorrow is not bypassed, but honored as a gateway to deeper healing and connection.

  • Singing With The Earth

    Facilitated by: Malorie Heder

The earth has a language beyond words. Many indigenous cultures understand that the natural world is alive and communicating with us beyond words. Through voice activation, elemental attunement, and intuitive sound, we’ll deepen our connection with the natural world and explore the voice as a pathway back into the natural relationship with the Earth.

Together we’ll listen, express and experiment with the voice as a channel for wisdom, and healing energies as they come from the Earth. This space is to reclaim the voice as a living instrument to which the world can be experienced.

No singing experience, or “beautiful” voice required. 😉

  • Therapeutic Art

    Facilitated by: Jaidyn Anderson

Art has always been a form of medicine — a way to move emotion, memory, and healing without needing to find the perfect words.

In this intuitive workshop, you’ll be invited into a process of gentle creation: exploring color, form, texture, and expression as a living language of your body and soul.

There is no right way to create here. There is no finished product you have to be proud of.

This space is about what happens inside you as you move, not what appears on the canvas.

Through guided prompts and open exploration, you’ll uncover hidden emotions, release stuck energy, and reconnect with the joy of pure creation.

    No art background needed.

Just bring your hands, and your willingness to let something be created.

  • Willow Weaving

Facilitated by Josie: Josie is a willow basket maker and instructor. She has been working with wild willow for five years, harvesting all of her own materials locally and using traditional, hands-on methods rooted in place and season.

Josie began her journey by attending primitive skills gatherings, where she learned foundational techniques and developed a deep respect for natural materials and ancestral crafts.

Through both weaving and her classes, Josie focuses on building meaningful connections with students, helping others gain confidence working with natural materials, and encouraging a deeper connection with themselves, their ancestry, and traditional skills through hands-on experience.

  • Folk Herbalism

    Facilitated by Hallie Ruth:

Hallie Ruth is a cultivator of vitality, rewilding enthusiast, matrilineal midwife, herbalist and lover of the plants. Folkloric herbalism traditions guide and support her life and work.

In this workshop participants will craft plant medicine using the voice of the plants to guide the process which has always been the way of folkloric wisdom traditions. You will get the opportunity to craft a tea blend, an oxymel and a flower essence.
