Frequently asked questions.

Where is weave Held?

Steele N Jo’s Bone, In Bone, Idaho. Exact directions and address will be given as we get closer to the event.

What are the dates?

WEAVE takes place Thursday, August 20th - Sunday 23rd.

Who Can Attend?

WEAVE is open to all Womben ages 18 and up. We understand Womanhood to be both a cultural and biological experience. We celebrate, explore, and educate about the biological roles and rhythms inherent to being female - that we then embody in our expression of Womanhood.  We honor the diversity of women from different backgrounds, ancestries, and lived experiences, and invite all participants to engage with curiosity, respect, and openness. Participation should reflect the culturally rich, and globally connected nature of the festival, creating a space where women from all walks of life feel seen, valued, and fully supported in their embodiment and expression of Womanhood.

Are Children Permitted?

We honor the sacred bond between the motherbaby. Babies still in arms - who need the closeness of their mother are welcome in the WEAVE space. We ask mobile toddlers and young children to stay home. Thank you for helping us maintain the integrity and energy of WEAVE while honoring the beauty of mothering.

Why have ticket prices increased this year?

This is in reflection of honestly meeting what it takes to hold this container, for the land, for the team that sets up and takes down the event, for the food, and for every person who chooses to step into it.

With a new venue comes expanded space, privacy, and a more supported environment for the gathering, but also increased costs across the board, including land use, permits, and infrastructure. We’ve also chosen to invest more into the experience itself, ensuring the space is well-held, resourced, and sustainable.

This means putting care into the parts of the gathering that aren’t always visible, but leave a real impact. We are supporting the people holding the space and creating a container that allows for real depth without overwhelming its holders, and tending to the details that make it possible for you to fully arrive.

It also means making choices that support longevity so this isn’t a one-time experience, but something that can continue to grow, evolve, and be offered with integrity over time.

Pricing reflects these shifts.

We approach this with care, and with the intention of balancing accessibility with sustainability, so the space can remain both grounded and deeply supported.

Do I need to be ‘spiritual’ or have prior experience to participate?

Not at all. You don’t need to have ever done a retreat, breathwork, or ceremony. If you feel called - that’s enough.

Do I have to participate in the Ceremonies?

Of course not. You’ll always have full agency. Nothing is required. You can observe, participate, or rest. Every part of the weekend is optional.

What plant allies will be used at WEAVE?

Plant allies such as tobacco, hapé, sananga, rose, and cacao, may be present within certain spaces at WEAVE.These medicines are approached with deep respect and are only offered by those who have cultivated a grounded, reciprocal relationship with the plants.

There is no expectation to participate. You are always welcome to engage in a way that feels right for your body and your path.

Do I need to sign up for workshops in advance?

Yes, as we get closer we will send out an email to choose what workshops you want to participate in.

Can I come Alone?

Absolutely. Many women will come solo and leave with lifelong connections. This space is designed to be safe and welcoming for anyone arriving on their own.

Is this religious or affiliated with any tradition?

WEAVE is not tied to any religion or tradition. It’s a heart-led, earth-rooted gathering that honors diverse spiritual paths and honors all belief systems. Some of the practices may come from indigenous or ancestral backgrounds, but they will be noted and given credit due when necessary.

Is there cell service or WIFI?

There is cell phone service, but no public WIFI. Consider this an opportunity to unplug and disconnect from the outside world.

Will there be photos or video taken?

We will have a photographer present with consent based documentation. Private moments and ceremonies will be held with discretion. You’ll be asked to indicate whether you’re comfortable being photographed.

Will alcohol or drugs be permitted?

No alcohol or recreational substances will be provided. We ask this be a sober space held with integrity. Optional plant ceremonies will be facilitated by initiated guides and handled with reverence.

Can I offer a healing service?

Yes! We welcome healers who align with the heart of WEAVE - Email Malorie, malorie@freefamily.net if you’re interested in offering a healing service.

Can I bring an RV instead of a tent?

Yes, but we have limited RV slots. RV slots will be listed as a separate product purchase for a cost. They are first come first serve basis.

Where will we be sleeping?

This event is BYOC (bring your own camp) style. We will provide a Facebook group with all participants who are interested in finding tent buddies. However, you will be responsible for providing your own sleeping essentials. The land has plenty of beautiful tent areas. For an additional cost, you are also welcome to bring an RV (very limited spots). You can also camp in your car if that is something you’re more comfortable with. Cars will be within reasonable distance to camping locations.

What if I don’t have any camp gear?

We will provide a Facebook group for those interested in sharing Tents. If you’re not interested in purchasing your own camp gear, reaching out to friends and family to borrow is always a great resource. Facebook Marketplace is another resource for cheaper used gear, as well as looking into camp gear rentals from Sporting Good stores.

Cars are also phenomenal camping spaces.

We will have plenty of portable bathrooms and handwashing stations available. There will be no showers or access to bathing water.

What is ‘Ceremony’?

Sacred ceremony is the act of naming something meaningful and treating it with care. Ceremony can look like drinking Cacao with intention, it can be gathering around a fire and releasing what you’re ready to let go of. It can look like singing, dancing, breathwork, praying, creating, or simply listening. It’s an embodied prayer offered through different means of connecting to the Earth and Spirit.
